Cindy is the founder of Heavenly Acres Pet Rescue and it can't be denied - she's certainly a lover of fur-friends
Below are the furkids she shares her home with on 10 acres in the woods of Florida. All were rescue kids. More pictures and their stories will be coming soon
It is often wondered, by those who know Cindy, if she ever sleeps. It's obvious her furkids try to trick her to sleep by pretending to be asleep themselves

Megan is an English Bulldog rescued from a puppy mill/backyard breeder. At the time of rescue she was supposed to be 4 yrs old, up to date on her shots and healthy. She was none of these things
She earned the nickname Ms Tude although she had such an adorable personality - once she was treated and regained her health and found happiness in her home with Cindy
The years of abuse Megan suffered caught up with her on 20 Jauary 2007. She passed quietly into God's care
